Christians of all ages are looking for more ways of creating connections with each other. Often, it's a matter of chance whether you will run into likeminded Christians in the workplace, on holiday, and in your social life. Christian Connection is trying to make it easier.
What is Christian Connection?
We know it can be a hard to create connections with other likeminded Christians. Those in small churches often find it hard to meet enough single people. Those in large churches feel under the spotlight, or find it hard to get to know people well. The opportunities of getting to meet Christians from other denominations, or even just different churches can be few and far between. Christian Connection is trying to make it easier.

Christian Connection was created by Widernet, a Christian led company in Central London. The site was launched in October 2000. Since then thousands of Christians have become members, (with over 40 new members each day) and hundreds of marriages and relationships have resulted. We are the largest subscriber-based Christian dating site in the UK. About 600 emails and 4000 live chat messages are exchanged each day - all of which lead to a lively and supportive community.
How does it work?
Every new member is asked to complete a profile. There is a free trial period. Members have the opportunity to search for compatible profiles and send waves and messages to each other.
Christian Connection offers a variety of features designed to make the whole process of finding and meeting new people easier, including a live chat facility, free SMS alerts and popular discussion boards.
Events for Christians
Christian Connection runs events through its sister site, eventsforchristians.co.uk. Registration on this site is free and will keep you up to date with the many social events that we run.

Does it cost anything?
If you're new, you can join the site on a free trial basis, which will give you full access to the all areas and functions of the site.
As a trial member you can:

- Search for other members
- View members profiles
- Send and receive mail from other members
- Send and receive waves
- Chat live with other members
- Have your say on the discussion boards
After the trial period, you'll have to subscribe to use the site.
Christian Connection in the media
Since Christian Connection first featured on the front page of The Daily Telegraph in 2001, we have appeared in most UK and Irish national newspapers, and almost all Christian newspapers and magazines. Staff and members have also been interviewed regularly on TV and radio. David Tennant (of Dr Who fame!) even played a Christian Connection member in a BBC TV play.
