I love Jimmy Spices, but Birmingham is a but far for me! Anyone fancy going to the Wimbledon one? I was thinking Sat 4th or 11th Feb for lunch (1pm ish) and then we can see what we feel like (cinema, pub, drinks etc)! Let me know your thoughts! X

Nice idea Vicky, thanks. I can make the 11th but the 4th clashes with the Nancy Goudie Spiritual Health Weekend for ladies in Bristol. I think there are a few of us on here who go to that. Do you have a link to the restaurant? I would just like to check out the menu and nearby parking facilities.

http://www.jimmyspices.co.uk/wimbledon.php The restaurant is about 5-10 min walk from WImbledon station, and there is car parking in the main town centre car parks and also in a lot of the side roads (although you have to pay for them).

I have my children with me on the 4th, but could make the 11th

BTW: the 11th is the start of half-term, not sure if that matters / makes any difference?

Hi Vicky,

I'm interested, I can do the 11th but the 4th is a problem as I will be in bristol Nancy Goudie weekend...

Looks like 11 th may be the best option..it is indeed half term so it may be difficult for people with young children( unless they arrange childcare). Vicki let us know what you intend to do as it does sound like a fab idea. :-) x

Have finally got around to setting up the Meetup and went for the 11th. For those that can't make it, especially if it is because of half term, I am sorry but if all goes well I am sure I can arrange another one another time!

Can any of you who are going to the Spirital Health weekend tell me a bit more about it-it sounds great!

Hi Vicky,

I went last year alongside Mich and a few others on here.
It was a great time of refreshing with God.
But on top of that we were treated and spoilt rotten and had a wonderful time of just being free to enjoy ourselves. There were seminars, followed by chocolate fountains, fruit etc and banquet dinner all explained in the blog...papmering rooms the use of the hotel etc..

But more so for me, having the time with God/ Jesus and his affirmation of how precious and special we are to Him, and how He can use us oin good times and bad times. There is a lot fo spiritual food and I didn't want to come home.
Also there are prizes to be won, just for being there. There is so much confidence building that unless you;re there, it's hard to explain. I'm set to go and will be sharing a room with Mich this year.

here's the blog from the website

Do I take it there's a meet up at Jimmy Spices Wimbledon on Sat 11th Feb lunchtime? If so I wouldn't mind joining you if that's OK. What time have you arranged?
