Events for Christian Singles
Leeds Events for single christians is a new group that has started from people travelling across the Penines to the 25+ group in Manchester. We have now started to have regular pub nights in Leeds for single christians in their 30's & 40's living within commuting distance. If there is enough interest we plan to have further social activites in future. Our next pub night is on friday 3rd September at the Fox & grapes on the A64, just off the A1 to the north east of Leeds. We are meeting at &:30pm for dinner or people are welcome to come along later for drinks.

Hi Deborah, it's good to be aware of all these organisations thanks for posting that. I recently joined a group called city socialising, although it is not a Christian group but I quite like thier model and wonder if there a similar group for Chrisitians. Members are the ones who organise events and invite others to it. That way there are loads of local events that members can attend. i tried TTF but their events are in Twickenam which is far from me. I have just stopped their contact. I will check the sesinglechristians out.
Pah, there ain't nothing in the South West...well, maybe some goats. sheep and Dartmoor ponies but that's just plain weird!
Goats, sheep and Dartmoor ponies are a good start, why don't you get few friends together and get a picnic going with the summer sun out?

Well, Mark, wouldn't like you to miss out & get stuck with those goats & dartmoor ponies! There is always special events, they have weekends away and have a trip to French Alps at end of Aug jointly with Richmond Holidays, and there are still places left for guys on this hol. I went on their last weekend away to Borrowdale Valley, in Lake District and there were quite a few people who had made the effort to travel up from the south. I has such a good time. It was my first christian singles event, I was kind of dragged along and was suprised how easy it was to talk to people & how much fun I had. Can't wait to go to the Alps. There is an organisation called Christain Endeveaours, they have holidays for Christain singles. They have guest houses up and down the country also in the Isle of White. Just came from one in North Wales it was amazing the fellowship was straight out the Bible. There also Lee Abbey in North Devon.
Hi do you know if there are any events in Scotland mainly the Glasgow or Edinburgh area. Looking for events to go along with a friend both of us are 40 plus.
So......what about TTF AND F? Also - anything in the East Midlands? Am new here, so any response would be good. Thanks.

Established in 1993, Twenties Thirties Forties (TTF) is an interdenominational charitable Christian organisation based in the UK hosting quality social events, , for both singles and couples. We are unique in that we are not primarily a singles group. Our events are open to and attended by both ‘singles’ and couples. Regardless of whether you remain single, or become a couple, you will still be able to continue to enjoy our events and your friendships that will develop from them. We have a high proportion of single people at our events and have had several marriages over the years, along with many friendships which have blossomed and continued in the community that has grown through people regularly attending our events.
