Greenbelt ?
Hi Ellen - I'm booked for Greenbelt too (and a couple of my friends are camping with the Goths). If you fancy meeting at the Tiny Tea Tent sometime that would be great (Friday afternoon can be good, before things start in earnest)... I've only got this 5 day renewed membership thing (which I guess finishes on Saturday) so if you'd like to meet up we probably need to make contact before that... Maybe we can get a group together?...

Excellent! Sounds like we may have friends in common...I am on a 5 day trial membership thingy too so we can't send each other private email addresses..grrr.....how annoying. We can however exchange mobile numbers I think. :-) I may get there early on Friday if I travel alone but if I travel with my friend she may not be able to get out so early. I'll message you tomorrow with my mob. :-) And anyone else who is going do get in touch and let's get a group together. :-)
Hi Ellen, I will be at GB and would like to meet up with any CC'ers. There was a similar post a few weeks ago ("Greenbelt 2010") started by Allison, and I've put a note on it to bring it to the top of the board, so you can see it...you might like to it to invite those members too...
Let me know where and when you're going to meet up...look forward to getting together. It's chilly tonight and reminds me of a late Tiny Tea moment!

Great - Tiny Tea Tent it is... I've only got a 5 day renewal of my membership so will be disappearing soon. Hopefully Ellen and I will have sorted out a time (as we've swapped mobile numbers) and I'll meet some of you there!

Hi Trevor and Dave..good to meet you on here. Trevor I am fascinated with your Topic...will it be dealing with older people then? A great topic as the population is growing older and the church should be ready to address the thorny issues ( like dementia). Dave please don't be nervous...It's a wonderful place with so much to do and see...the talks are so diverse and so are the people..there are some great bands...and fun events... it's very sociable too and relaxed. The camping can be a bit scary though! :-) Ha ha that's why my friend and I are thinking of borrowing her parents' caravan!
Before I go ...( as my 5 days trial expires soon and I am going away for the weekend and then to Crete ) I thought that the Tiny Tea Tent on the Saturday Morning at 11 for coffee, tea, chat and cakes, would be a start...I will hold a big Red Umbrella ( closed if inside the tent obviously :-) and look like my photo. Meeting on Saturday morning first thing means that we can then organise ourselves for meeting up at other times as hopefully the word will get out.

Hi everyone...my friend and I have just booked Greenbelt...the last time I went I had the best time!! We went to Beer and Hymns..HTB organises a similar event in Putney once in a while...they even had a spoof Carol Concert by Candlelight in August ! I laughed so much and had such a good time. :)) Is anyone going and if yes can I bribe you to meet in the Tiny Teas Tent ....wonderful cream teas? Some of my friends are Goths and are camping with the Christian Heavy Metal group...which should be fascinating. :-)
