I wanted feedabck from men as to whether Christian Carter's info is accurate in terms of men's view point on conducting relationships and meeting women, not whether men need his info for themselves.
He is marketing his resources as teaching material for women about men and relationships. Apprently, he researches very extensively for his info so I am interested if theory meets with practice. One of many the subjects he raises,which is very topical for the CC Boards is why do men say thyey will call and then don't.
He lists 21 Secrets about men. A mixture of being interesting and alarming if true. A number of things he says makes sense though. I wonder what others think? He has on -line newsletter with ebook attached that he has.

I agree with you it will be nice to hear from men on whether they think his theories applies to them. I have some of C. Carter's materials. I went through them religiously and must say they made sense to me. I thought it worked as well. A nice guy I met at the time was actually interested in me, my only reservation was that he was almost ten years younger.

you know age is irrelevant, there are some young men that are very matured beyond their age while other older men are as childish as a toddler! actually my neighbour proudly flaunted her husband to me ;who is about 10 yrs younger than her. she met him after her husband took off with her best friend!. so she sees it as God's best compensation to her!. they have been married for years and from what i can see they are doing well!

I wonder if you read CC ( Christian Carter's ) 21 secrets about Men. Secret no. 1 most women know this one. Men can you guess what is secret no. 1? Oh keep your mind pure guys. It's not the obvious. That would be too easy besides that's no secret Ha ha lol :-)

You're right about Carter's stuff not behind being Bible based, however it's social psychology and common sense stuff. Much of the things are morally compatible with being a Christian but others are not. One thing which obvisously not, he thinks its ok to have sex outside marrigae allbeit if you wait for the right moment after knowing someone for a long time in a commited relationship. So discretion and Holy Spirit descernment required. all based on The WORD for his material. I think the scripture which comes to mind, is the "The children of this world are often wiser that those of God"
In other we can learn things from many sources.
Karen - Thanks for the pearl of wisdom. I am still rather traditional in my thinking and dating someone younger is not something I see myself doing. I however take your point that some younger men are more matured than some older ones, this one certainly is.
Maureen - I did not read the 21 secrets. Maybe you can give us a snippet.
Has anyone heard of Christaian Carter? He does seminars etc on relationships particular giving insights into the hidden depths of the male pyschology. If you have come across his books/DVD etc. How do you rate what he has to say. This question is especially addressed the Men, but feedback from all would be interesting. I wonder if what has to say has relevance to us has Christians??
