We are an online success story as we met on Christian Connection in November 2004 and got married in June 2007. C was living up in Bradford and I in Oxford when we met over the internet… After many hours of emails, texts, phone calls and motorway miles C moved to Oxford, we got engaged and had a wonderful wedding last June. We are really grateful that God used your internet site to bring us together.

We would like to thank Christian Connection for the initiative, we met in 2004 and got married in 2006. That's the photo of the Happy Day!

I can only say that, for us, CC was a perfect means for our meeting. Mike, at 38, had lost his first wife to illness and was looking initially for friendship. I'd had a broken engagement and was similarly looking for friendship to begin with. However(!), God had different ideas and after exchanging just 6 emails over a three day period, we were 'talking' marriage! (I have to say, I wouldn't recommend this haste to everyone, but it was right for us!) Two all-night MSN conversations later, we were arranging to meet! Mike brought Henry, his King Charles Cavalier, for moral support, and we had a wonderful evening together, the three of us!!! After 6 weeks of seeing each other every day - despite an hours distance between us - Mike proposed. Four and a half months later, in April, we were married. God graciously gave us lots of confirming, affirming signs along the way and has been faithful. We're really happy! Our beautiful daughter was born in March 2007 - 4 days before our 1st Wedding Anniversary!

A huge thank you to Christian Connection for creating a relaxed yet thorough way to meet new Christian people. I started emailing my now Husband for a month or so before meeting him and we were married one year and a week after we first met.

Hello, this is to give you an update from my last e-mail in August of last year.

Julian and I are now engaged and are getting married in April this year! As we first met in July last year it has been very quick indeed.
We are truly Father's best for each other we have an amazing God!

When E and I met after a lot of deep and special emails, I knew the meeting would be very important - and now we are planning our wedding in April this year! Friends and family are genuinely happy and excited for us!

I have met someone on the site, we met up and got on ever so well. It's early days but here's hoping and praying.

I hadn't tried internet dating before but found the opportunity to learn a lot about the person and ask all the important questions was great as we felt we knew each other before we met. We had moved onto phone calls before our first date was arranged. So it's going very well and I would like to thank the organisation for making our contact possible.

That's not through any dissatisfaction with the service, rather I'm a complete convert. I had been fairly sceptical in the past and will admit to commenting that I thought that the whole process was pretty shallow.

However in the post-Christmas lull I thought that I'd give it one try. One try was all it took. I am now dating someone I met at the event. Neither of us can quite believe it's true.

We met on CC about 4 years ago, married a year later and have been busy bringing up a family in very short space of time.

Enjoying life, although it's hard at times bringing up the children but CC has turned our single worlds around totally. Sadly there are no photos of us together because it's either me or Liz who take the pics. Anyway it's not about us anymore, it's about the children!

It's early days yet and I would say that we are very much in God's hands at this stage. Whatever else may happen we have definitely become friends, have been in constant touch via email since June and enjoy our evening 'conversations' as an event to look forward to during the day. We have encouraged each other to step outside our accustomed 'comfort zones' and try new experiences.

Can I just say thanks for providing such a great service. I have met up with a number of really great Christian women from the site since my membership started last December.

I have found someone very special recently on the site and we have met up many times now... thanks again for making it possible for me to meet someone so lovely!

I wanted to give you a bit of an update on what's been happening, since I suspended my membership back in May. Things are going REALLY well! In many
ways it still feels like early days. We're both fairly cautious people, so we're taking things slowly, but so far everything feels right and we're both very very happy. I thank God for bringing us together and I'm incredibly
grateful for the part that you have played in this.

I know there are a lot of people who haven't (yet!) met the right person through CC and some of those people may voice their frustrations from time to time. I can identify with that, because it's taken me a long time to get to this point.

However, I want to encourage you to keep going with the brilliant service you are providing. You have made two people very very happy. Thank you.

I'd almost given up because as well as being divorced, I'm also a single mum and I know the combination of the two can be a bit frightening for some blokes. I persevered and having written my shortest note ever was bowled over to get a 3-paged response back.

So, if anyone is in the same boat, or just about to give up - give it one more try.
