 Greenbelt 2004 Speed Dating
In 2004 Greenbelt had its largest attendance for years. Along with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Jamelia and Anita Roddick, one of the big events of the festival was - of course - Speed Dating with Christian Connection.
Speed Dating On A Grand Scale
In 2003 over 350 people attended the largest ever Christian speed dating events in Europe. In 2004 it was over 500, with 300 on Saturday alone.
Pre-registration before the event
This time we were in the new "Istabraq" venue instead of a tent. Spirits were high, but legs were a bit cramped.

Speed Dating begins in earnest
 Charlie and Claire (right) met last year at Greenbelt during Speed Dating, and were there to provide a bit of encouragement, if any was needed. They are now married; just one of three couples we actually know about from last year's Greenbelt.
Nathan Johnson from the Cinematic Underground (below - with hat) went on to write and perform a song about his experience at Speed Dating. His performance at the Performance Café was a highlight of the festival to many!
